Branding & Visual Identity

Almousa Specialized hospital

We champion health and combat illness

The story behind Al-Mousa Hospital’s establishment began a year ago when Sheikh Abdul-Aziz Al-Mousa envisioned combining hope and excellence. Al-Mousa Hospital, the first specialized hospital in Al-Ahsa, grew into a healthcare group that includes a rehabilitation hospital, two medical towers, and a College of Nursing. The challenge was to create a visual identity that honors the long-standing legacy, reputation, and name of Al-Mousa Hospital, while infusing the new identity with a sense of modernity, innovation, and freshness. The new visual identity successfully preserves the hospital’s heritage while embracing a contemporary and forward-thinking approach.

Work strategy:

The strategy team began by studying the current state of the hospital’s identity to assess and evaluate all the applied elements. Following this, the design team translated the strategy into a modern visual identity. The core idea was to preserve the Sidr tree, a key element of the previous identity, and reimagine it in a contemporary and modern style to reflect both tradition and innovation.

Framework:

  • Brand Strategy: Collaborated with key stakeholders to gather insights and shape a clear brand direction that aligns with the company’s goals.
  • Brand Identity design: Created the design concept for the brand’s visual identity, ensuring it reflects the core values and market positioning.
  • Brand architecture: created flexible sub-identities structure allowing for differentiation across different platforms.
  • Print and Digital Applications: ensuring it performs effectively across various channels and touchpoints.

Brand Guidelines: Compiled all design elements, usage rules, and guidelines into an Identity Guide.
